Plastic Ocean @ Haus des Meeres Vienna

You are invited to the vernissage of the art project “Plastic Ocean” on October 11, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Haus des Meeres in Vienna.

This exhibition, created by photographer Andreas Franke, features 24 impactful photographs that address the urgent issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. Franke combines his artistic vision with a commitment to marine conservation, aiming to raise awareness of the threats posed by plastic waste to our oceans.

The Haus des Meeres serves as an ideal backdrop, showcasing over 10,000 animals and emphasizing the need to protect our oceans. The opening of the Plastic Ocean project is part of the marine conservation exhibition “Wir und das Meer” which explores marine use and pollution. This connection encourages reflection on individual actions that can contribute to the protection of our waters.
