The main task of Haus des Meeres Betriebs GmbH is to provide an infrastructure for the operation of a zoo at Haus des Meeres, to support Haus des Meeres Aqua Terra Zoo GmbH in service provision and commercial matters, and to make visits to the zoo as pleasant as possible by providing culinary specialities and a well-sorted shop. Another of its tasks is to market and manage the event venues at the Haus des Meeres in view of cultural events, exhibitions and other activities.
